A recent article on Yahoo! hotjobs lists Web design among the five best work at home options in today's job market.
The article, by Web writer Shannon Dauphin, was one of two posts on the Web last week promoting the career path as a viable money making option.
The second article, from BusinessWeek and Yahoo! Finance, placed Web design among the top 10 part time business ideas along with blogging.
The hotjobs article put annual earnings at $71,510 according to 2007 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Other top work at home jobs include:
--Bookkeeping, at an annual estimated income of $31,560
--Computer Programming, at a yearly estimated salary of $68,080
--Costumer Service Representative for approximately $29,040 a year
--Medical Transcription, for an annual earning potential of $31,250
